April 2019 edit

Hello, I'm Meters. I noticed that you added or changed content in an article, Carson High School (Carson, California), but you didn't provide a reliable source. It's been removed and archived in the page history for now, but if you'd like to include a citation and re-add it, please do so. If you need guidance on referencing, please see the referencing for beginners tutorial, or if you think I made a mistake, you can leave me a message on my talk page. That had been tagged as being unsourced since 2011. That's not an invitation to add yet more unsourced claims. Meters (talk) 17:50, 19 April 2019 (UTC)Reply

Please refrain from making unconstructive edits to Wikipedia, as you did at Hollaback Girl. Your edits appear to be disruptive and have been or will be reverted.

Please ensure you are familiar with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines, and please do not continue to make edits that appear disruptive. Continual disruptive editing may result in loss of editing privileges. Even if the group is now independent of the school that does not justify removing the mention of the school from the video article. The group was associated with the school at the time. Yes I understand what you’re saying. But I’m directly affiliated with that group. And we ARE NO LONGER affiliated with the school. So there needs to be a change to everything directly involving “Carson Flaggies” because it had been a continuous issue with the school. Including the pep flag Wikipedia which can’t be edited. I’ve continuously been on that talk page trying to get whomever is able, to make the correct changes. Even sourcing articles. I’m not an expert on this whole Wikipedia thing. But I’d like my team to be respected in that matter and for it to be fixed immediately, because again WE ARE NOT PARTIF CARSON HIGH SCHOOL — Preceding unsigned comment added by 134.204.88.243 (talk) 21:37, 19 April 2019 (UTC)Reply

Answered on the Teahouse, and your edit request on Pep flags was answered the same day as you made it. If you don't give us reliable sources, and can't be bothered to read the response don't give us a hard time about it.
Again, just because the group is no longer associated with the school (at least according to you) is no reason to remove mention of the school from events the group participated in while it was representing the school. That makes as much sense as attempting to claim that Montreal never had a MLB team (the Montreal Expos for 35 years) because the team then moved to Washington (the Washington Nationals).
Since you claim in your Help desk post to be "affiliated with the team" please read WP:COI. Meters (talk) 03:34, 20 April 2019 (UTC)Reply

And absolutely, you’re right. You seem to be so adamant about sourcing everything, yet that page has no sources. And just how you’re defending the fact that the school needs to be represented properly. You should understand that the team needs to also be represented properly. Which they are not. But that’s not an issue right? So just block away :)
