Sylvia Browne edit

Hi, Abbeen. Welcome to Wikipedia!

First, of all, I ask that you please familiarize yourself with Wikipedia's policy on Assuming Good Faith on the part of editors with whom you come into conflict with, as well as the policy prohibiting Personal Attacks on other editors. If you find yourself in conflict with another editor, then try talking to them about the matter. Start a discussion with them. But do not make accusations that they are "lying", or assume that they did not read the pertinent material, as you did in your most recent edit summary, unless you evidence that excludes less accusatory explanations, and/or have attempted a dialogue with them.

Also, please make sure you sign your talk page posts, which makes it easier for everyone to know who they're addressing. You can do this by typing four tildes (~~~~) at the end of them, which also automatically time stamps them.

Regarding the article content, I think there is some confusion between the GoErie.com page (which I did not remove), with the WGNO ABC News page, which is the one I indeed deleted. The GoErie.com page, as you correctly pointed out on my talk page, indeed supports the statement that Browne predicted that Obama would not be re-elected. However, if you look closely as my edits, you'll see that that page was never removed in my edits. The material and accompanying citation that I removed (and which you restored) was the latter passage about Browne later reversing her prediction by stating that Obama would be elected after all, and the reason I did this is that the citation for that passage, the aforementioned WGNO ABC News page, does not contain any mention of Browne or Obama, as it simply directs to the WGNO main page.

Please advise. Nightscream (talk) 21:25, 16 December 2012 (UTC)Reply

I added the Erie Times-News source. I'm not adding the ABC News page. It was there before I ever made changes. Your sloppy removal messed up the tags.
Please take some time and look 1) at what's being added before you remove it and 2) look at what you removed. AbbeenPP (talk) 22:01, 16 December 2012 (UTC)Reply
Sorry about that. Thanks for pointing out my error. Happy Holidays. :-) Nightscream (talk) 22:49, 16 December 2012 (UTC)Reply
