With reference to comment on article Jafar_Sadiq' about 'Wikipedia is not censored' edit

If you drew the picture then yes. But that's not the point. You need to discuss on the talk page of the article if the picture should be removed. There are a lot of religious articles, not just Islamic ones, that contain pictures that may or may not be exactly of the person concerned. something lame from CBW 18:26, 5 March 2010 (UTC)Reply

Edit to the lead of Muhsin ibn Ali edit

Just wanted to discuss your edit on the lead section of Muhsin ibn Ali. You are correct in stating that the source said that Umar breaking her ribs was the cause of her miscarriage. However, it also stated that this is believed by "some" Shi'ite historians. However, your wording of the lead implied that this is believed by all Shi'ites in general. Also note that as per MOS:LEAD, a lead section is a summary of the main article. The main article here discusses several causes of the miscarriage. It would therefore be more appropriate to employ a general wording in the lead which describes all of the different accounts, as it previously had done. This is opposed to mentioning one specific account. What are your thoughts?

@Alivardi: I have made changes so that it incorporates your point about Qunfudh and also added the necessary citation about Qunfudh, which you had missed while reverting my edit. Also the lead is well within the guidelines of MOS:LEAD since it now mentions (in brief) the causes of his death. Abbas
The issue now is that the lead gives a disproportionate attention to the notion that the confrontation was violent, as opposed it merely being verbal. The original lead discussed both these opinions equally. Further to this, again as per MOS:LEAD, a lead is usually "written at a greater level of generality than the body", which is to say that discussing specifics is not beneficial here. This is also why citations are not strictly necessary in the lead (see MOS:LEADCITE).
The paragraph is clearly about his death and not what happened at Fatimahs house. Please bring a reference to how a verbal confrontation caused the death of Mohsin. Also, MOS:LEADCITE talks about citations being necessary for controversial subjects such as the topic we are discussing.

Please define disruptive with recent examples from my edit history. If fixing references and pointing out wrong information is disruptive, then there is a deeper problem in your understanding of the situation Abbas Gadhia (talk) 15:37, 24 July 2020 (UTC)Reply
