One featured article and another

edit

I read your comments on Talk:Society of the Song Dynasty and I was wondering if you could take a look at the historical section of my article Zhou Tong (archer). Do you know of some additional information relating to him that I could add to the article? I would use more Chinese sources, but I currently have the Chinese reading comprehension of a monkey. If you see any mistakes, let me know. --Ghostexorcist (talk) 16:08, 21 March 2008 (UTC)Reply

I have just responded to your list of complaints about and grievances with Society of the Song Dynasty. I checked online and my library does have a copy of Hymes' book, but not Hartwell's. I would love to improve the article in the areas that you suggest, but you couldn't have suggested a collaborative effort to improve the article at a worse time, as I am just now engaging in several large projects for classes at my university, which will ultimately consume most of my spare time on weekdays and weekends. I am afraid that progress will have to be slow.--Pericles of AthensTalk 16:25, 21 March 2008 (UTC)Reply

Is Society of the Song Dynasty the only Song Dynasty article you find fault in? There is also Architecture, Culture, Economy, History, and Technology of the Song Dynasty in the series I created; do any of these have glaring problems, perhaps, ones that I am unable to see but you could point out?--Pericles of AthensTalk 00:27, 25 March 2008 (UTC)Reply
I've made recent improvements with Hymes' book (citing him in several sections) as well as an article by Winston Lo that helped to flesh out the information on Wang Anshi and political factions.--Pericles of AthensTalk 15:39, 27 March 2008 (UTC)Reply

Thanks, you're good at this, and your critique is most welcome in any of these articles. What about other articles I've brought to featured or good status; could you critique some of these as well?

Featured (excluding Song articles)

Good (excluding Song articles)

I'm always looking for any means to improve these articles, as I want to retain their status as either featured or good (their status can come into question and be stripped through later peer review, it has happened to many articles that were once featured). Cheers.--Pericles of AthensTalk 15:36, 27 March 2008 (UTC)Reply
