Welcome to Wikipedia. Because we have a policy against usernames which give the impression that the account represents a group, organization or website, I have blocked this account; please take a moment to create a new account with a username that represents only yourself as an individual and which complies with our username policy.

You should also read our conflict of interest guideline and be aware that promotional editing is not acceptable regardless of the username you choose.

If your username does not represent a group, organization or website, you may appeal this username block by adding the text {{unblock|reason=Your reason here ~~~~}} below this notice.

You may simply create a new account, but you may prefer to change your username to one that complies with our username policy, so that your past contributions are associated with your new username. If you would prefer to change your username, you may appeal this username block by adding the text {{unblock-un|new username|reason=Your reason here ~~~~}} below this notice. Thank you. Request reason:

Please unblock, the reason this account appears to represent an organisation is that it does. I am the Curator of Official Records at the Australian War Memorial, post from this account represent posts from the Research Centre of the Memorial, this could be verified by simply contacting us back at "official.records@awm.gov.au" or "info@awm.gov.au" if you wanted to use the general information line of the Memorial. We were trying to assist Wikipedia by providing some up to date information direct from the Memorial's records. However, if you don't want any Wikipedia input from the part of the Memorial which holds all of the records and source material, please feel free to leave the account blocked; like all archives, we have more than enough work to keep us busy.

Decline reason:

Wikipedia simply doesn't allow organisational accounts. Whilst we would welcome your contributions in a personal capacity - and I would encourage you to create a new account for that purpose - this site's terms and conditions do not allow the AWM Research Centre to operate an account. If you want to make any further unblock requests, please read the guide to appealing blocks first, then use the {{unblock}} template again. If you make too many unconvincing or disruptive unblock requests, you may be prevented from editing this page until your block has expired. Do not remove this unblock review while you are blocked.

Thanks for clarifying Yunshui. In that case we won't worry about it, we were hoping to provide some useful input to Wikipedia, but as we are under the employ of the Memorial, it would not be appropriate for us to make contributions in a personal capacity while at work; and conversley as we don't have access to the Official Records collection when we are not at work it is not possible to contribute out of work time. Hence we are in a Catch 22 situation caused by your policy. We were hoping to give your entries the benefit of some contributors who have direct access to relevant primary source materials, but I'm sure you'll do just fine without our input.
