editThis is an account for working on the new Ancient Near East portal, which I hope will be helpful to users, as well as to editors who choose to contribute to Wikipedia.
The Ancient Near East, being the cradle of civilization, attracts a lot of nationalists and fringe theorists; we need to attract and retain more constructive editors in this field.
