I saw your edit to the above article...if you're a member of the Druck family and need assistance with issues on the article (I understand this is sensitive) please feel free to e-mail me at wiki.kelly gmail.com. With respect - Kelly hi! 16:07, 12 August 2008 (UTC)Reply

I am glad to see that Kelly made that offer to you. Kelly is a fair, balanced, and considerate editor, and will work with you to see that the article is presented in an even-handed manner. As a person who both edits Wikipedia and is the subject of a Wikipedia biography myself, i understand that there are difficulties with trying to "manage" the information that is presented, especially is sensaltionistic charges are being made. My best to you and yours, sincerely, catherine yronwode a.k.a. "64" 64.142.90.33 (talk) 16:33, 12 August 2008 (UTC)Reply

ALJDJDD, and I will address you assuming that the speculation here is correct that your user name is an acronym for "Alias Lisa Jo Druck, James Druck's Daughter" or equivalent, it's clear that you want the truth of your story to be known. As catherine yronwode points out,

"a simple statement from Rielle Hunter, published in any reliable source news medium, stating that she believes … would be what Wikipedia would need"

She was referring to statements published about your father, but honestly, there are more immediate issues about the truth of your story that are unresolved, certainly not through any fault of yours, but because of recent public statements by John Edwards, statements widely perceived to be false, and said to be false by your friends. You have the power to correct these alleged Edwards's falsehoods about your story by public truth telling. If it were my family's reputation and future on the line, I would not hesitate to hire the absolute best attorney possible and negotiate a deal that told my story honestly while securing my children's future. You have a published connection to the California legal community, so obtaining a recommendation for the sort of stellar representation you need should be straightforward. Certainly, any attorney associated with John Edwards has a conflict of interest in representing your interests, to say the least. According to published media reports, investigations have begun into Mr. Edwards's campaign finances, and the expectation is that any "hush money" to you, the Youngs, or others, certainly cannot continue indefinitely. The truth will out. When it does, I sure would want a top notch attorney that works for me be the one to tell it, in the context of a bargain that provides for my children. Good luck.
