Banning policy

edit

Your desire to improve the Wikipedia by removing problematic edits is appreciated, but you are getting a bit overzealous when you wholesale reverted a group of edits made to History of spaceflight by User Randy Kryn.

  • WP:BANREVERT does not obligate you to revert edits just because they were made by a banned user; changes that are obviously helpful can (and should) be allowed to stand.
  • Randy Kryn is not topic banned; he is an experienced editor in good standing. His edits here were not "ambiguous cases".
  • Wikipedia has evolved a style through consensus; several of Randy's edits were made in accordance with this (e.g. capitalizing the name of planet Earth and its Moon).

Please be more careful in reverting what you think are edits made in violation of topic bans. JustinTime55 (talk) 14:29, 26 October 2022 (UTC)Reply
