Your recent editing history shows that you are currently engaged in an edit war; that means that you are repeatedly changing content back to how you think it should be, when you have seen that other editors disagree. To resolve the content dispute, please do not revert or change the edits of others when you are reverted. Instead of reverting, please use the talk page to work toward making a version that represents consensus among editors. The best practice at this stage is to discuss, not edit-war; read about how this is done. If discussions reach an impasse, you can then post a request for help at a relevant noticeboard or seek dispute resolution. In some cases, you may wish to request temporary page protection.

Being involved in an edit war can result in you being blocked from editing—especially if you violate the three-revert rule, which states that an editor must not perform more than three reverts on a single page within a 24-hour period. Undoing another editor's work—whether in whole or in part, whether involving the same or different material each time—counts as a revert. Also keep in mind that while violating the three-revert rule often leads to a block, you can still be blocked for edit warring—even if you do not violate the three-revert rule—should your behavior indicate that you intend to continue reverting repeatedly. — Czello (music) 00:15, 13 July 2023 (UTC)Reply

You may want to follow this advice instead of continuing to revert. FatalFit | ✉   00:19, 13 July 2023 (UTC)Reply
If this is a shared IP address, and you did not make the edits referred to above, consider creating an account for yourself or logging in with an existing account so that you can avoid further irrelevant notices.

Notice of edit warring noticeboard discussion

edit

Hello. This message is being sent to inform you that there is currently a discussion involving you at Wikipedia:Administrators' noticeboard/Edit warring regarding a possible violation of Wikipedia's policy on edit warring. The thread is Wikipedia:Administrators' noticeboard/Edit warring#User:97.112.208.74 reported by User:Czello (Result: ). Thank you. — Czello (music) 00:19, 13 July 2023 (UTC)Reply

Fyi, this is User:Kompress0 block-evading. Again. - wolf 23:21, 13 July 2023 (UTC)Reply
FYI I have two other IPs I edit from without getting them tangled in this mess. 97.112.208.74 (talk) 01:51, 16 July 2023 (UTC)Reply
I doubt that very much. Jtbc, I absolutely believe you are still editing via other accounts, but there is no way you are contributing anything worthwhile, nor doing so collegially without causing any drama. You know... leopards, spots, etc. - wolf 02:39, 16 July 2023 (UTC)Reply
I tried to make valid contributes via this account with the edit on the mosquitofish page but personal bias had people reverting my valid additions to articles at that point.
This was a valid edit, but it's the source of contention. My addition to the mosquitofish page was as mundane as it gets, it was referenced in detail in a TV show and I added a pop culture reference. But no, it was still deleted because of the grudge that the "Segregation academy" (Personal attack removed) has against me. 97.112.208.74 (talk) 15:04, 16 July 2023 (UTC)Reply
But no, it was still deleted because of your persistent block evasion and continued blockable behaviour. It doesn't matter how worthy, well-sourced and super-duper awesome you think your edits are, or if they're just plain, minor and mundane... you are blocked from editing this project. The block applies to you, not just the account(s) you were/are using. Any edits you try to make are just a waste of your time. Why not try another site where your contributions will not only be permitted, but perhaps even welcomed? - wolf 18:11, 16 July 2023 (UTC)Reply
Yeah but the block was trash in the first place so I choose to ignore it. I provided a case for my edit to RAS syndrome that has yet to be addressed, at all. There's even an identical example under 'non-examples' on the very same page. "OPEC countries" is not considered redundant because 'OPEC' is the organization and 'countries' is referring to members of that organization. Via the exact same line of reasoning, 'DC' is the company and 'comics' is a product they sell 97.112.208.74 (talk) 20:55, 16 July 2023 (UTC)Reply
It was addressed: the material was sourced. You chose to ignore that, too. — Czello (music) 07:28, 17 July 2023 (UTC)Reply
It wasn't addressed, people just kept circularly pointing to the source that I was refuting in the first place.
What's the name of the company? Are comics a product they sell? 97.112.208.74 (talk) 13:34, 17 July 2023 (UTC)Reply
They're considered a reliable source. What sources say takes precedence over personal opinion. — Czello (music) 13:43, 17 July 2023 (UTC)Reply
Well then wiki needs to up its criteria for 'reliable source'
It's not personal opinion, it's a fact that it's not a redundant acronym. 97.112.208.74 (talk) 05:39, 18 July 2023 (UTC)Reply

"Yeah but the block was trash in the first place so I choose to ignore it." - and that's your problem right there. You don't have the option to just "ignore" your block and expect to keep on editing, or even debating your previous edits. While you are blocked, the only thing you can do on Wikipedia is request to be unblocked. However, you've already had numerous unblock requests denied;

...so at this point, you should stay away from Wikipedia for at least 6 months (or more likely 12) and then go through the standard offer process. In the meantime, no one here is obligated to discuss and debate any edits with you (which WP:DFTT (Don't Feed The Trolls) is basically about). - wolf 17:23, 17 July 2023 (UTC)Reply

"and that's your problem right there. You don't have the option to just "ignore" your block and expect to keep on editing"
Obviously I do, because that's what I did. 97.112.208.74 (talk) 05:40, 18 July 2023 (UTC)Reply
And yet all the edits you wanted keep getting reverted, and whichever IP you try to use gets blocked, leaving you to storm off to a talk page and post the usual two-to-three useless unblock requests, followed by a series of rage-post demands that are never addressed. So, really... it doesn't that this stategy of yours is really working out. (Has anyone mentioned WP:DTS to you yet?) Anyway, I think we're done here, but feel free to have the last word... if you feel you really need that. - wolf 06:37, 18 July 2023 (UTC)Reply

Pinging blocking admin Paul Erik. Since this user is only editing this talk page to post personal attacks ([39]), while evading their infef block on yet another account, their is no reason to keep this page open to them and so access should perhaps be revoked. (imho) - wolf 22:49, 18 July 2023 (UTC)Reply

TPA revoked. Paul Erik (talk)(contribs) 22:52, 18 July 2023 (UTC)Reply
