2022 Lebanese General Election edit

I have restored your additions to the article. My apologies for the confusion. SPF121188 (talk this way) (contribs) 14:10, 29 April 2022 (UTC)Reply

Endorsing of lists edit

A lot of parties are endorsing the "tawahadna liltaghyeer" list. There are a lot of members being endorsed by parties from under the table. These tags are for those who belong to a political party and not endorsees (unless they are electoral blocs). Hope you understand the edits. Slzgd (talk) 16:16, 30 April 2022 (UTC) [1]Reply

There is dissonance in what you are stating and what is published on the 2022 Lebanese Elections page. Many of the other electoral blocs are stated as "(Ex-Future)" and "(Ex-FPM)" but you are not taking them down. If they are "Ex" then, by your above statement, you should be as stringent in removing those titles as well. If not, then Sououd Abou Chebel's tag as an Ex-Lebanese Forces member will remain for people to know in the spirit of transparency.
None of the endorsements are under the table are all public knowledge at this point. For example, Samy Gemayel is releasing banners in support of the bloc.
Zoya Jreidini and Imad Seifeddine are current members of the Lebanese Communist Party, and the Lebanese Communist Party has endorsed the electoral bloc as a whole (see citation) - their tags will be reinstated.
Hope you will refrain from removing the tags and acting in a manner as to perpetuate a specific political agenda. We make facts easily accessible and leave it to the public to decide who to vote for. 961account (talk) 16:27, 30 April 2022 (UTC)Reply

Thanks. While they could be backed up by votes from the mentioned parties (Kataeb + LCP) it does not mean that they have direct members or ex members of those parties. I hope you understand. This page has used L'orient le jour as a viable source and thus the edits I have done are based on that. Also Kataeb offices in the Aley region have not displayed any backing of any lists. Hope you understand my point of view. Slzgd (talk) 15:26, 1 May 2022 (UTC)Reply
No problem. 'Tawahadna Lil Taghyeer' is not just backed up by Kataeb and LCP, but if you do understand Arabic well, the word "تحالف" (allegiance) was used which is, in fact, a step further than endorsement - it is an allegiance. Kataeb offices in the Aley region have in fact displayed a direct backing to "Tawahadna Lil Taghyeer". Anyhow in the video, the statement of allegiance comes from the mouth of candidate Mark Daou himself.
Again, candidates Zoya Jreidini and Imad Seifeddine are current members of the Lebanese Communist Party, and the Lebanese Communist Party has endorsed the electoral bloc as a whole (see citation). The edits created are published by the Republic of Lebanon Ministry of Information, Al Mayadeen News and As-Safir which I'm sure you know are viable sources.
Even if you keep removing the citations, what I am posting is already public knowledge anyway. It is not just a point of view, but established facts. Hope you will understand the difference. 961account (talk) 15:38, 1 May 2022 (UTC)Reply
You cited Mayadeen and As Safir as your sources (even our national sources have a political agenda) and yet you brought up that my edits are biased - all while using openly biased sources. Find an actual unbiased source and we can reach a consensus. Slzgd (talk) 16:23, 1 May 2022 (UTC)Reply

May 2022 edit

Your recent editing history at 2022 Lebanese general election shows that you are currently engaged in an edit war; that means that you are repeatedly changing content back to how you think it should be, when you have seen that other editors disagree. To resolve the content dispute, please do not revert or change the edits of others when you are reverted. Instead of reverting, please use the talk page to work toward making a version that represents consensus among editors. The best practice at this stage is to discuss, not edit-war. See the bold, revert, discuss cycle for how this is done. If discussions reach an impasse, you can then post a request for help at a relevant noticeboard or seek dispute resolution. In some cases, you may wish to request temporary page protection.

Being involved in an edit war can result in you being blocked from editing—especially if you violate the three-revert rule, which states that an editor must not perform more than three reverts on a single page within a 24-hour period. Undoing another editor's work—whether in whole or in part, whether involving the same or different material each time—counts as a revert. Also keep in mind that while violating the three-revert rule often leads to a block, you can still be blocked for edit warring—even if you do not violate the three-revert rule—should your behavior indicate that you intend to continue reverting repeatedly. You have been blocked from editing for a period of 24 hours for edit warring, as you did at 2022 Lebanese general election. Once the block has expired, you are welcome to make useful contributions.
During a dispute, you should first try to discuss controversial changes and seek consensus. If that proves unsuccessful, you are encouraged to seek dispute resolution, and in some cases it may be appropriate to request page protection.
If you think there are good reasons for being unblocked, please read the guide to appealing blocks, then add the following text below the block notice on your talk page: {{unblock|reason=Your reason here ~~~~}}.  Bbb23 (talk) 16:02, 1 May 2022 (UTC)Reply
