Edit warring at Mountain Meadows Massacre

edit

You have been blocked from editing for a period of 72 hours for edit warring, as you did at Mountain Meadows Massacre. Once the block has expired, you are welcome to make useful contributions.
During a dispute, you should first try to discuss controversial changes and seek consensus. If that proves unsuccessful, you are encouraged to seek dispute resolution, and in some cases it may be appropriate to request page protection.
If you think there are good reasons for being unblocked, please read the guide to appealing blocks, then add the following text below the block notice on your talk page: {{unblock|reason=Your reason here ~~~~}}.

Per a complaint at WP:AN3. Thank you, EdJohnston (talk) 20:27, 21 March 2020 (UTC)Reply

Weather the responsible party for the Mountain Meadows massacre should be identified as the Mormon church or the militia has been debated many times. If you want to break a 15 year precedent, I suggest you make a compelling argument on the talk page first. Just a quick glance of the talk page archives shows the following discussions about this on [1][2][3][4]. Reading these discussions, and perhaps re-opening one of them if you feel strongly about it BEFORE inserting this content, might just avoid another unfortunate situation of being blocked. Regards, Dave (talk) 03:17, 28 March 2020 (UTC)Reply
