/* Lemkin, UN and genocide */ new section
editI think there is an important addition to make to the page Genocide.
It should be emphasised that Lemkin breaks genocide into three types: physical, biological, and cultural. Yet when he presented his ideas and definition to the United Nations, cultural genocide – the largest of the three types – was left out of the new legal definition. Researcher Kristina Charleston argues that the reason was likely to be an “insidious one – leaving it in would implicate the major powers (ones drafting the law, no less) in the largest genocide in the history of mankind.” References: https://scholarworks.iu.edu/journals/index.php/iusbgrj/article/download/18104/24229

Request reason:
Caught by a web host block but this host or IP is not a web host. My IP address is 94.119.64.78. It is provided by the Cloud, not a web host.94.119.64.78 (talk) 09:24, 26 July 2022 (UTC)
Decline reason:
Public internet access often uses webhosts. Furthermore, there appears to also be extensive vandalism from this IP range(also common with public internet). Please request an account at WP:ACC and if the block affects your account, you can request unblock there. 331dot (talk) 13:10, 26 July 2022 (UTC)
If you want to make any further unblock requests, please read the guide to appealing blocks first, then use the {{unblock}} template again. If you make too many unconvincing or disruptive unblock requests, you may be prevented from editing this page until your block has expired. Do not remove this unblock review while you are blocked.
This is the discussion page for an IP user, identified by the user's IP address. Many IP addresses change periodically, and are often shared by several users. If you are an IP user, you may create an account or log in to avoid future confusion with other IP users. Registering also hides your IP address. |
