Active cases

edit

Hello, I have repeatedly removed the active cases in the infobox of the COVID-19 pandemic in the Republic of Ireland article for a reason. If there is a problem, please discuss it on this section of the talk page. Also, just to let you know, you are adding the active cases back in the infobox wrong. It does not show once it is published. You have also referenced sources wrong. Please learn to cite correctly at WP:CITE.

You have mentioned in your edit summaries that removing the active cases is a mistake and that people need to know how many active cases there are in the country.... So you are aware, the active cases and the recovery figures are WRONG. The Department of Health, the HSE or any other public health organisations have NOT updated the recoveries figures since the summer. And so, a second wave of the virus arrived in Ireland, with new cases of 1,000 adding daily back in September to November. If the recoveries figure haven't been updated since the summer, how can the active cases be correct?

I will be removing the active cases figure again. Any issues? Please discuss on talk page.

The number of recoveries was updated just a few days ago, the number of recoveries back in July when it wasn't updated months ago was less then 24,000, now the number of recoveries is at 25,335 last updated on Monday!
