Twin City Dundee/Nablus edit

Please do not make unconstructive edits. Nablus is legally under Palestinian authority. If you wish to discuss this please use the talk pages Citizensmith (talk) 14:56, 17 February 2008 (UTC)Reply

Please stop. If you continue to vandalize Wikipedia, as you did to Ramallah, you will be blocked from editing. EnviroboyTalkCs 08:40, 18 February 2008 (UTC)Reply

Sorry, but there really is no country called Palestine. If there ever is, then Nablus can correctly be assigned to it (if it falls in the future Palestine). You cannot fairly accuse me of vandalism when I am trying to correct a fact that you find offensive.

If you examine the photograph of flags of twinned cities in the Dundee article you will see that it is the flag of the Palestinian Authority the council flies - not the flag of Israel. Nablus is legally administered by the Palestinian Authority. If you find this offensive then feel free to come to Scotland and take the matter up with local government in Dundee.   This is the last warning you will receive for your disruptive edits.

Citizensmith, YOU are perpetuating a FALSEHOOD on Wikipedia and I request that you STOP or risk being blocked yourself. There is NO such country as Palestine, and it is INACCURATE to portray otherwise.

It says Nablus, West Bank in the article and the flag Dundee flies is the Palestinian one. This was highly controversial at the time but the fact is that Dundee Council intended to show solidarity with the Palestinian cause. It does not accidentally fly the wrong flag because they are stupid. If the council chooses to fly the Israeli flag in the future then I would agree the Dundee article should reflect that. Furthermore see Governorates of the Palestinian National Authority and Palestinian National Authority -- which flags are in these articles? Why are you picking on Dundee and not changing the other articles? Citizensmith (talk) 12:46, 19 February 2008 (UTC)Reply
