Edits to Spanish language
editHello- I reverted some apparently well-intentioned edits from this IP to the Spanish language article that were somewhat incoherent. Please ask for help at that article's talkpage if you would like assistance making your point. Eric talk 02:07, 28 April 2020 (UTC)
I've just reverted a revertion from Eric. If Eric can't speak Spanish, you shouldn't edit this page. As everyone (even Eric) can check at the link I've attached from Diccionario Panhispánico de Dudas at the Spanish language page at Wiki, you can find the point that I've edited. It's no an opinion. If you can't speak Spanish, you shouldn't edit the page Spanish Language. The statement from Real Academia de la Lengua Española about this discussion:
El término español resulta más recomendable por carecer de ambigüedad, ya que se refiere de modo unívoco a la lengua que hablan hoy cerca de cuatrocientos millones de personas. Asimismo, es la denominación que se utiliza internacionalmente (Spanish, espagnol, Spanisch, spagnolo, etc.). Aun siendo también sinónimo de español, resulta preferible reservar el término castellano para referirse al dialecto románico nacido en el Reino de Castilla durante la Edad Media, o al dialecto del español que se habla actualmente en esta región.
