editHello! Thanks for your recent feedback on the Doris Akers article. It would help me better improve it if you could clarify what portion of the article you think needs more research. Unfortunately while writing it I had a hard time finding reliable, sourceable, information on much of her life. I had other information -- for example that fearful after the Watts riots she sent her children back to her hometown of Kirksville, Mo. to receive their education in a safer environment -- but the source wasn't reliable enough for inclusion. If you have any "leads" I could follow like newspaper or magazine articles, websites, etc. I'd greatly appreciate you passing the on. Thanks again for your feedback.
