Dear 74,

Thanks for your message on my page. I saw your post on the Alice Bailey talk page and agree that it really is a cast of characters. Yes, I agree there is some bias on the page and encourage you to get involved even minimally if you can. Even coming around every two days helps.

Some friendly advice, if it all possible please register. Your real identity will remain secret and you'll have a lot more credibility. Then, post something on your user page (even a period) as it will turn your signature blue instead of red (look at the contribs and you'll see your contribs are in red).

Best wishes, Renee 21:26, 15 October 2007 (UTC)Reply

Is this the same edit

I know that IP block user names may point to a bank of computers rather than a single machine, but it is interesting to note that the IP address 74.53.36.132 has been claimed by a person in Los Angeles who has a similar writing style to the Wikipedia user 74.53.36.132. There is a post on an Interstate Brands Companies (IBC) employee's and consumer's opinion forum here [1] that is dated July 2007 and signed 74.53.36.132 -- and it goes like this:

Name: Who Cares

Hey...Ellmer fudd....we need your ip address.....free speech is not allowed here anymore......at least your not talking about body functions...we cant have any sick post on here it may affend some one No Sick Humor....allowed on this page...Maybe we are bored....and tired of of alot of bullSHIT and don't go around BITCHING AND CRYING.....GOD....That SHIT Get's old...IP Addres ...74.53.36.132 '

The IBC forum board looks like a place where people are voicing their unhappiness with the failure of the Bakery company for which they work, and are also giving vent to xenophobic racial, political, and economic "tough talk", including a smattering of anti-immigrant, antisemitic, and 9/11 conspiracy theories.

I am just logging this post by "Who Cares" of Los Angeles (Dolly) in case the trash-talk of User 74.53.36.132 continues at Wikipedia to the point where someone wishes to take stronger action than making a request for civility.
