Your standards for Wikipedia:Reliable sources

edit

I moved the {{fact}} in Constitution Party (United States) to the end because the paragraph in general had no citation. Now, when you moved it back to immediately after Judeo:

I have not once seen the CP use the word Judeo or talk about Judeo Christian values. I have only seen them talk about Christian values. It is a misleading line and needs a citation.

(First, it is not necessary for the word to be used; Judeo-Christian is, from the page, "the body of concepts and values which are thought to be held in common by Judaism and Christianity". But that is beside the point.)

Here, you seem to be saying that the fact that you've seen softens the need for a citation for the whole paragraph, as opposed to the one little piece of it. However, earlier, you said:

I repeat PostiveAtheism and Infidels.org are not reliable sources. This is an encyclopedia.

(All of these can be seen on Special:Contributions/71.131.252.60.) So what you are saying is that an anecdotal statement from you is sufficient, but not PA (which, by the way, is often merely a proxy, being largely a collection of primary sources) or Internet Infidels?

I would like to move {{fact}} as a start back to the end of the paragraph in question. Please discuss further on the talk page. Stephen Compall 19:42, 2 June 2006 (UTC)Reply
