Speedy deletion nomination of Teliris

Telepresence is regarded as highly expensive and only for the use of CEO. Teliris telepresence is totally different to other telepresence corporates in it's reach and affordability.

Teliris deserves a listing as a worthy telepresence provider, I've removed all the marketing USPs to just create at presence so we have a place on wikipedia and telepresence history. I intend to upload pictures of our new systems and technology alongside independent research material.

Any help on how we might achieve this would be great, we have a story to tell about this remarkable technology.

Can I also draw your attention to Cisco and Polycom entries, again a global dominates.

Russ, thanks but I only have user talk pages, It is really hard as a communications expert to not wax lyrical about telepresence and our systems having seen the rubbish that is out there and followed and existing example such as the Cisco page. I imagine I'm now too late and will have to try and start again. Appreciate the comment. Jo

You are missing (actually missed) the point. No one said the page was rubbish, the existence of other pages such as Cisco or Polycom is immaterial to any discussion of the notability of an article on Teliris. This article was removed not as a judgement of the company but a judgment of the article. All articles must have references to reliable sources to demonstrate notability. The Cisco article has 26 references to general sources such as Reuters and CBS News as well as industry sources such as LightReading and NetworkWorld. Had significant coverage in sources like these been produced for Teliris, it would not have been removed. As R'n'B pointed out, by commenting here rather than the article's talk page as directed by the deletion notice, your thoughts on the matter went unnoticed.--RadioFan (talk) 12:02, 27 October 2009 (UTC)

I did that under another user name, Teliris, the administrators to that were less helpful and blacklisted me which is why I have had to start again. Both your comments are much more constructive. With sources such as Ovum, Wainhouse, Gartner and environmental charities to quote I will go again. I need to sources these from other locations that our website I would imagine?

You likely got blacklisted for a reason, I suggest you slow down a bit and ask questions before recreating anything. I've userfied the talk page you created. Talk pages are intended for discussion, not articles. You may continue working on the article at User:6G/Teliris until its to a point where it might meet WP:GNG and avoid deletion as a result. {{helpme}} Thanks, I'm struggling to get my page live, I've edited it, based on the kind advice offfered but not sure if I got in with all the reference material prior to the deletion. I then re-created and now I'm puzzled.....Everyone who has commented has been so helpful. Jo PS this one you've commented on isn't the latest...

Hit there, you're very welcome. The main thing you need to worry about at the moment is WP:ARTSPAM. Because Wikipedia is an encyclopedia, we strive to write with a neutral point-of-view, giving views to both the positives and the negatives of a subject and not attempting to promote them in any way. While this article is nowhere near a truly terrible case, wording like "In 2009 Teliris redefined the telepresence industry with the unveiling of 6G telepresence, the first-ever truly affordable platform that extends an uncompromised experience to locations anywhere in the world by dramatically reducing bandwidth and related costs" sounds like an advertisement for (I'm assuming) your product. I know you want to get people to buy it, but Wikipedia requires a neutral, well-written article. Another thing to think about is WP:COI, Wikipedia's conflict of interest policy, but I'll let that slide; you seem to be a well-meaning fellow, one who is receptive to comments like this one. :-) Cheers, —Ed (talk • contribs) 12:52, 28 October 2009 (UTC)

One Question

Morning, I'm so enjoying this. I have one question whilst we work on the page. Do you continually look at the page and decide when/if to remove the !? If so you deserve a medal as there must be so many people like me who need your help.

The issue I've got at the moment is that the Gartner and Ovum reports aren't published to the public you need to pay the membership fee....but I'm trying. 6G (talk) 09:12, 29 October 2009 (UTC)
