US 41

edit

I reverted both of your edits to the US 41 article.

  1. US 41 may be signed east–west at its southernmost point in Florida, but that's still its national southern terminus for purposes of the infobox. Yes, there are situations where we would use non-opposite cardinal directions, but they'd be situations where the highway has a much longer directional change, like I-69 changing from north–south Lansing to east–west from Lansing to Port Huron, Michigan.
  2. You can't change the name of a photo without breaking the link to that image on Wikimedia Commons. By changing that, the photo stopped appearing.

I hope this helps explain things. Imzadi 1979  19:28, 3 June 2022 (UTC)Reply

File:US 41 southern terminus.jpg is the name of a photo. File:US 41 eastern terminus.jpg is not. See how the second link here is in red? That's because nothing exists at that name. So when you change the article like you did, you break the photo link. Please stop changing it.
Now then, as for the infobox: U.S. Route 41 is a national-level overview article. Nationally, US 41 has a southern terminus in Miami and a northern terminus is Copper Harbor. On the national-level article, we would not say it has an eastern terminus and a northern terminus, so please stop changing the infobox. The article already clearly states "Between Miami and Naples, US 41 is signed east–west...", so nothing more is needed. Imzadi 1979  20:40, 3 June 2022 (UTC)Reply

Reverted edits

edit

You are gaining a bit of a reputation for making ill-advised edits to highway articles. Considering your edits to Interstate 69 in Michigan and Interstate 69 in Indiana, I'm very much unsure why you felt the need to change the terminus of the Michigan article to a location in Indiana, and then change the terminus of the Indiana article to a location in Michigan, which isn't even the terminus in that state. Editing like this is not helpful, and continuing to do so may once again lead to the curtailment of editing privileges. A new block will likely be for a longer period as administrators normally escalate the time periods for serial vandals and other offenders.

Consider yourself warned, again. Imzadi 1979  19:02, 11 November 2022 (UTC)Reply

Just stop

edit

The northern end of Interstate 69 in the state of Indiana is not Flint, Michigan, a city 130 or so road miles away from the state line. Please just stop making these ill-advised changes. Imzadi 1979  03:45, 6 December 2022 (UTC)Reply
