December 2008 edit

Welcome to Wikipedia. Although everyone is welcome to make constructive contributions to Wikipedia, at least one of your recent edits, such as the one you made to K. J. Noons, did not appear to be constructive and has been reverted. Please use the sandbox for any test edits you would like to make, and read the welcome page to learn more about contributing constructively to this encyclopedia. Thank you. January 2009 edit

Please do not add commentary or your own personal analysis to Wikipedia articles. Doing so violates Wikipedia's neutral point of view policy and breaches the formal tone expected in an encyclopedia. Thank you. --aktsu (t / c) 20:23, 1 January 2009 (UTC)Reply

Please stop. If you continue to violate Wikipedia's neutral point of view policy by adding commentary and your personal analysis into articles, as you did to Fedor Emelianenko, you will be blocked from editing Wikipedia. tedder (talk) 23:47, 15 January 2009 (UTC)Reply

Welcome to Wikipedia. The project's content policies require that all articles be written from a neutral point of view, and not introduce bias or give undue weight to viewpoints. Please bear this in mind when making edits such as your recent edit to Floyd Mayweather Jr.. You may also wish to read the introduction to editing. Thank you. --Rrburke(talk) 15:29, 26 January 2009 (UTC)Reply

February 2009 edit

Welcome to Wikipedia. Although everyone is welcome to contribute constructively to the encyclopedia, your addition of one or more external links to the page Baron Davis has been reverted.

Your edit here was reverted by an automated bot that attempts to remove unwanted links and spam from Wikipedia. The external link you added or changed is on my list of links to remove and probably shouldn't be included in Wikipedia. The external links I reverted were matching the following regex rule(s): \bblog(?:cu|fa|harbor|mybrain|post|savy|spot|townhall)?\.com\b (links: http://www.highsockslegend.blogspot.com/). If the external link you inserted or changed was to a blog, forum, free web hosting service, or similar site, then please check the information on the external site thoroughly. Note that such sites should probably not be linked to if they contain information that is in violation of the creator's copyright (see Linking to copyrighted works), or they are not written by a recognised, reliable source. Linking to sites that you are involved with is also strongly discouraged (see conflict of interest).

If you were trying to insert an external link that does comply with our policies and guidelines, then please accept my creator's apologies and feel free to undo the bot's revert. However, if the link does not comply with our policies and guidelines, but your edit included other changes to the article, feel free to make those changes again without re-adding the link. Please read Wikipedia's external links guideline for more information, and consult my list of frequently-reverted sites. For more information about me, see my FAQ page. Thanks! --XLinkBot (talk) 03:03, 4 February 2009 (UTC)Reply

June 2009 edit

Welcome to Wikipedia, and thank you for your contributions. One of the core policies of Wikipedia is that articles should always be written from a neutral point of view. A contribution you made to Brantford, Ontario appears to carry a non-neutral point of view, and your edit may have been changed or reverted to correct the problem. Please remember to observe our core policies. Thank you. Deconstructhis (talk) 00:55, 8 June 2009 (UTC)Reply

John von Neumann edit

Please stop blindly pushing your addition to John von Neumann against the consensus of other editors. It is factually wrong. Discuss the changes you want to make on the talk page first. — Emil J. 13:01, 16 October 2009 (UTC)Reply

October 2009 edit

Welcome to Wikipedia. The recent edit you made to John von Neumann has been reverted, as it appears to have removed content from the page without explanation. Use the sandbox for testing; if you believe the edit was constructive, please ensure that you provide an informative edit summary. You may also wish to read the introduction to editing. Thank you. Please consider discussing controversial aspects of an article before making unilateral changes. If you continue to make unconstructive edits like those you made to John Chrysostom I'm going to ask an administrator to block you. Majoreditor (talk) 23:41, 23 October 2009 (UTC)Reply

Welcome to Wikipedia. The recent edit you made to Gregory of Nyssa has been reverted, as it introduced negative or controversial biographical material without providing a reliable source for this information. Wikipedia requires that all such material be sourced to address the issue of libel. Thank you. Jojhutton (talk) 16:01, 25 October 2009 (UTC)Reply

Please do not add unsourced or original content, as you did to Thomas W. Davis. Doing so violates Wikipedia's verifiability policy. If you continue to do so, you will be blocked from editing Wikipedia. Cirt (talk) 01:30, 27 October 2009 (UTC)Reply

Some suggestions edit

Hi, I noticed that you're contributing material to articles which is usually reverted by other editors. Here's some suggestions:

  • Discuss controversial material on article discussion pages rather than adding in back into the article. There's often a way to find a consensus on how to add new material into an article if you'll dialog with other editors.
  • Use respected scholarly sources when dealing with controversial topics and/or adding material to well-developed articles. Your favorite source, "Miraculous Journey", is an interesting book but isn't really a scholarly work - as the author says, it "exclusively employs a traditional Torah framework". University research libraries are a good place to start
  • Please review Wikipedia guidelines for writing and adding material to articles. I left you some links earlier. In particular, please look at guidelines for lead paragraphs.

Please feel free to contact me should you have any questions. Majoreditor (talk) 22:26, 27 October 2009 (UTC)Reply

This is your last warning. You will be blocked from editing the next time you vandalize a page, as you did with this edit to Gregory of Nyssa. MC10 (TCGBLEM) 01:41, 28 October 2009 (UTC)Reply

3RR edit

You currently appear to be engaged in an edit war. Note that the three-revert rule prohibits making more than three reversions on a single page within a 24-hour period. Additionally, users who perform several reversions in content disputes may be blocked for edit warring even if they do not technically violate the three-revert rule. When in dispute with another editor you should first try to discuss controversial changes to work towards wording and content that gains a consensus among editors. Should that prove unsuccessful, you are encouraged to seek dispute resolution, and in some cases it may be appropriate to request page protection. Please stop the disruption, otherwise you may be blocked from editing. Majoreditor (talk) 02:02, 28 October 2009 (UTC)Reply

Émile Durkheim edit

Please consider discussing your claim before you continue editing Émile Durkheim. A topic concerning your repeated edits has been made on the article's talk page. Thanks. --m3taphysical (talk) 03:50, 28 October 2009 (UTC)Reply

You have been blocked from editing for a period of 24 hours to prevent further disruption caused by your engagement in an edit war at Gregory of Nyssa. During a dispute, you should first try to discuss controversial changes and seek consensus. If that proves unsuccessful you are encouraged to seek dispute resolution, and in some cases it may be appropriate to request page protection. If you believe this block is unjustified, you may contest the block by adding the text {{unblock|your reason here}} below. Nja247 07:50, 28 October 2009 (UTC)Reply
