Welcome!

Hello, 4GRANTED, and welcome to Wikipedia! Thank you for your contributions. I hope you like the place and decide to stay. Unfortunately, your edit to an article does not conform to Wikipedia's Neutral Point of View policy (NPOV). Wikipedia articles should refer only to facts and interpretations that have been stated in print or on reputable websites or other forms of media.

There's a page about the NPOV policy that has tips on how to effectively write about disparate points of view without compromising the NPOV status of the article as a whole. If you are stuck, and looking for help, please come to the New contributors' help page, where experienced Wikipedians can answer any queries you have! Or, you can just type {{helpme}} on your user page, and someone will show up shortly to answer your questions. Here are a few other good links for newcomers:

I hope you enjoy editing here and being a Wikipedian! Please sign your name on talk pages using four tildes (~~~~); this will automatically produce your name and the date. If you have any questions, check out Wikipedia:Where to ask a question or ask me on my talk page. Again, welcome!  ·:· Will Beback ·:· 23:07, 3 October 2008 (UTC)Reply

BLP

edit

Welcome to Wikipedia. Please do not add unreferenced or inadequately referenced controversial biographical information concerning living persons to Wikipedia articles. Thank you. ·:· Will Beback ·:· 21:41, 18 November 2008 (UTC)Reply

You have made an edit that could be regarded as defamatory. Please do not restore this material to the article or its talk page. If you restore this material to the article or its talk page once more, you will be blocked for disruption. See Blocking policy: Biographies of living people.   Will Beback  talk  12:00, 14 August 2009 (UTC)Reply
PS: Blogs are not suitable sources for biographies, even more so with a claim like this. Please don't do that again.   Will Beback  talk  12:00, 14 August 2009 (UTC)Reply
Wikipedia seeks to maintain its integrity regarding the biographies of living people (BLP) by requiring reliable sources, and when the claims are exceptional (like adultery) then the sources need to be even better. If this is as flagrant as you say then it will eventually be investigated and published by a mainstream news source. Or maybe they have investigated and found no truth to it. Anyway, the basic rule is "no blogs in BLPs".   Will Beback  talk  19:38, 14 August 2009 (UTC)Reply
