Reading about green anole lizards the Wikipedia page wrongly limits them to coastal Texas and as far north as Hill Country. I live in the Dallas area and they are plentiful here. Found a Texas reference that should be used to correct the Wiki page. I have a logon but haven't used it in a long time. Also since I'm not anywhere near an expert on these things I'd prefer someone else edit as the other claims in the distribution are also likely in error.

Additional reference and quote from Texas Parks and Wildlife (Government) -

"This lizard is found throughout the eastern third of Texas, and is common in the southeastern U.S."

Here is the excerpt and reference that incorrectly limits them and I notice it is a Georgia reference that no longer pulls up.

"Distribution and habitat[edit] This species is native to North America, where it is found mainly in the subtropical southeastern parts of the continent. Anoles are most abundant on the Atlantic Coastal Plains in North Carolina, South Carolina, Georgia and Florida, and on the Gulf Coast in Alabama, Mississippi, Louisiana, and Texas, where they extend inland as far as Texas Hill Country … [3]
