Sorry, I had no idea that talk pages had no accountability, wasn't my intention to break any rules. Where can we look at an editor's status to get an idea of their history without having to check long histories of removed edits by hand? Tenthrow (talk) 15:19, 22 July 2014 (UTC)Reply

Waukeshawi/MilkweedPods

edit

I believe that Waukeshawi was attempting to start cleanly, but did not quite know how. He felt like other users were attacking him, and for "security and safety reasons," he created a new account, believing that the "attacks" would stop. (Note how he wrote, "good bye" on his old user and talk page.) I appreciate that you and other users are trying to help him, so I am going to try to explain WP:CLEANSTART to him. I really don't think that he maliciously edited or created an account, at any point. You didn't try to bite him, but he felt like he was being bitten. I will try to explain to him that you are trying to help him (as you have already explained), how Wikipedia works (as you, again, have already explained), how you can't "own" a page (ditto), etc. You didn't do anything wrong, at all, but I think that if someone who hasn't been in the conversation came in, maybe I could help him understand. I do not think that either of you is coming maliciously into this, and his personal attacks are because he thinks that this isn't "the way things go."
