Request reason:
The blocking admin is mistaken. None of my edits were even remnotely disruptive. They also deleted the AFD I put on my user page as I can't create AFDs as I don't have an account, which violates the First Amendment: "Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof; or abridging the freedom of speech, or of the press; or the right of the people peaceably to assemble, and to petition the Government for a redress of grievances." 2A01:36D:1200:4672:F00D:79BB:DD86:2D4B (talk) 10:53, 14 January 2024 (UTC)
Decline reason:
You are deeply confused. You have no freedom of speech here. See WP:FREESPEECH. No further unblock request will be considered unless you also demonstrate you clearly understand you have no freedom of speech here. Yamla (talk) 12:34, 14 January 2024 (UTC)
If you want to make any further unblock requests, please read the guide to appealing blocks first, then use the {{unblock}} template again. If you make too many unconvincing or disruptive unblock requests, you may be prevented from editing this page until your block has expired. Do not remove this unblock review while you are blocked.
I won't review this, but the First Amendment only applies to the government, not to private entities like Wikipedia. Just as you can restrict what is said within the four walls of your residence, Wikipedia can determine what appears on its computers. See WP:FREESPEECH. You may say whatever you wish on your social media or on a street corner, but not on other entities' computers. Here, reliable sources are needed to support content. 331dot (talk) 10:57, 14 January 2024 (UTC)
This is the discussion page for an IP user, identified by the user's IP address. Many IP addresses change periodically, and are often shared by several users. If you are an IP user, you may create an account or log in to avoid future confusion with other IP users. Registering also hides your IP address. |
