Hello, I'm from Russia and I'm studying theatre. Sorry for not leaving an explanation for my edit, but there was a serious mistake in the mentioned article. Elena Kovalskaya headed the Meyerhold Center, not the Army Theater. These are two completely different theatres. Consequently, Emir Kusturica could not succeed Kovalskaya in her position. In addition, Emir Kusturica was not appointed to the position of director of the Army Theater in 2022 or later. These were fake news in the media, which were later refuted by him.
