Again this may be true, although I would potentially look into getting better sources for this, but in accordance with WP:BRD the correct response once an edit war has started is stop and seek consensus on the talk page for the change. Keep in mind that edit warring is always disruptive even if you are right, the correct course of action is for you to start a discussion, and then if consensus is reached or no one objects in a reasonable period of time to make the change, if you are still getting reverted afterwords please seek help from here, and I'm sure they will assist you if you have followed all the proper procedures. It would also help if you avoided Personal Attacks in the future, and tried to show some civility and patience in the future, Thanks for your interest in Wikipedia!

I actually don't know anything about Marvel or frankly Comics in general, I assume you are telling the truth and acting in good faith. That said I think it's important to try to do things the right way, and I think the best way to go about this to start a discussion on the article talk page (just press the new section button) and gain consensus. Have patience if you are right your changes will be implemented eventually, it might just take a day of two to do so.

I would also suggest reaching out to some more experienced editors at the teahouse, to help you in your future endeavors.
