Open Carry VS Concealed Carry

I watch or record for later viewing. Watched episode where gentlemen had a gun in hid pocket when he was confronted with a knife. I was bit unclear that you mentioned his state had an open carry law. I too live in an open carry law state. But if concealed in his pocket it is not open carry. That is a concealed weapon and should require him be licensed. You did not mention that his weapon was indeed concealed. Why was the subject addressed that he was allowed to carry a concealed gun in his front pocket? Inquire about the concealed carry law. My state requires a background check and police /county Law Enforcement to approve licensing and he must show the permit and present upon request. Open carry does not allow guns to be concealed. Confused about the fact you did not inquire simply his state was open carry.
