Dynamic IP

edit

This is not a criticism, just a word of advice. Apparently you have a dynamic IP address, meaning it changes every time you restart your device or log in to Wikipedia. It's not a policy violation to edit from different IPs, unless it's done to stack votes in a discussion or evade a block. And that's not the case in the Melungeon discussion. But in the future, to avoid any misunderstanding it would be wise to identify yourself as the same IP who has made previous comments. It wasn't a problem with the Melungeon discussion, but it could create a problem in more heated discussions involving a lot of editors. I also suggest registering an account. It's not required to edit, but there are many advantages. It's free and quick to register. See WP:REGISTER. Sundayclose (talk) 16:57, 6 August 2023 (UTC)Reply
