Source Request (October 2023) edit

Hello! I wanted to ask you a question regarding this edit, where you started the Talk:Battle of Re'im#Nimrod Aloni was not captured, Wikipedia is spreading Iranian-Jihadi false propaganda discussion section.

  1. First of all, everyone is able to contribute to Wikipedia, but every claim needs to have a secondary reliable source. In your edit, you claimed Mr. Nimrod Aloni was not captured, but you didn’t provide a source. Currently, his capture is documented by this article from The Daily Telegraph. Right now, since there is a reliable secondary source claiming he is captured and since you did not provide a source (URL/link to a source), no change can be made to the article.
  2. Secondly, you claimed Wikipedia was “Hijacked by terrorists to spread fear and psychological warfare”. If you wish to contribute further to Wikipedia, like providing a source that Mr. Aloni was not captured, which would be corrected immediately after a source was provided, you should read Wikipedia:Civility, as every editor should assume good faith among other editors. As you can see from this message, Wikipedia was not “hijacked by terrorists”, but rather listening to a reliable source from the United Kingdom.

To conclude, I would suggest reading over those policies and guidelines that I linked and then provide a source/link to show Mr. Aloni was not captured. Unless you do that, Wikipedia will continue to say he was captured, as a source in the UK states he was captured. Cheers! If you have any questions, feel free to message me and ask!
