Sorry I've had to undo all your revisions to HMS Dartmouth (1655) as there was evidence that a considerable part of them were cut and pasted or close paraphrased from copyrighted sources (see WP:COPYVIOLATION for guidance). It's a shame as your work was an improvement to the article. I would be delighted if you used your own words to re add the information Lyndaship (talk) 18:27, 15 October 2018 (UTC)Reply

Re: HMS Dartmouth. Disappointing but I understand. Can I add new text a bit at a time? It's a lot of work for it to be taken down again. The main image and references were OK? 21ppy (talk) 19:07, 15 October 2018 (UTC)
Moved your reply here as its best to keep a conversation together. The good news is overnight another editor has done an excellent job of working on the article. All that is left to do is to add more about the wreck discovery. The problem was not the detail you added but the copy and pasting from another site, rewrite it in your own words and it will be fine I'm sure. From memory your referencing was fine but even if it was not someone will correct the format - it's not grounds to delete the content. Images should not be copied from somewhere else on the web unless they have a compatible licence to wiki (which is unusual). I hope you add more about wreck discovery to other ships articles Lyndaship (talk) 07:44, 16 October 2018 (UTC)Reply
