December 2019 edit

Hello, I'm Sjö. I noticed that you added or changed content in an article, BrewDog, but you didn't provide a reliable source. It's been removed and archived in the page history for now, but if you'd like to include a citation and re-add it, please do so. You can have a look at the tutorial on citing sources, or if you think I made a mistake, you can leave me a message on my talk page. You'll need more than a link to the legislation. We can't have allegations of criminal conduct without a reliable source to support it. Even then, it's not obvious that it should be included since there's also the matter of WP:DUE to consider. Sjö (talk) 07:03, 21 December 2019 (UTC)Reply

The criminal complaint was made to Aberdeenshire Trading Standards by me on Wednesday 18 December 2019 - as yet, no reference number has been allocated to the complaint by TS officers. The reference to Regulation 28 enables anyone to determine that the information legally required to be present is missing from the Brewdog site, a criminal offence under that Regulation. 217.169.14.81 (talk) 18:20, 22 December 2019 (UTC)Reply
No, that's not how it works on Wikipedia, and it's explicitly forbidden by the [[Wikipedia:No original research| policy on original research. Also, because there are no reliable sources that mention the complaint it's obvious that it doesn't meet WP:DUE. Sjö (talk) 19:12, 22 December 2019 (UTC)Reply

OK, thanks for the explanation - I'll wait until TS officers decide whether or not to prosecute and keep the entry updated with any Court result.217.169.14.81 (talk) 18:29, 31 December 2019 (UTC)Reply

If this is a shared IP address, and you did not make the edits referred to above, consider creating an account for yourself or logging in with an existing account so that you can avoid further irrelevant notices.

Brewdog Edits edit

Please do not add or change content without citing a reliable source. Please review the guidelines at Wikipedia:Citing sources and take this opportunity to add references to the article. Thank you.— Preceding unsigned comment added by 90.252.9.255 (talkcontribs)

Hi... the edit cited the relevant page on the web site www.brewdog.com that demonstrates the geographic discrimination referred to - I can't think of any better way of proving the existence of the discrimination referred to, but I'm open to help and suggestions... if the owner of the site is indeed Brewdog PLC (and the absence of the legally-required information identifying the trader behind the site means that there's no certainty about that) then referring to the site proves what's posted. Hope that helps.217.169.14.81 (talk) 18:09, 22 December 2019 (UTC)Reply

In the absence of the identifying information required by the Companies Act 2006, there is no evidence to support the assertion that Brewdog PLC operates the site www.brewdog.com in the UK and therefore that URL has been deleted from the Wikipedia entry.217.169.14.81 (talk) 18:15, 22 December 2019 (UTC)Reply

January 2020 edit

Please do not add commentary, your own point of view, or your own personal analysis to Wikipedia articles, as you did to BrewDog. Doing so violates Wikipedia's neutral point of view policy and breaches the formal tone expected in an encyclopedia. Thank you. Sjö (talk) 09:05, 1 January 2020 (UTC) OK... I've made it completely objective so that potential purchasers can make their decisions based on the facts. 217.169.14.81 (talk) 23:11, 3 January 2020 (UTC)Reply
