Hello, I'm Jim1138. I noticed that you made a change to an article, Sleeping while on duty, but you didn't provide a source. I’ve removed it for now, but if you’d like to include a citation to a reliable source and re-add it, please do so! If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thanks. Jim1138 (talk) 04:19, 15 July 2016 (UTC)Reply

If this is a shared IP address, and you did not make the edits, consider creating an account for yourself so you can avoid further irrelevant notices.

Dubious

edit

Add a template:dubious {{Dubious |Not a sign of dedication |reason= Other sources disagree |date=July 2016}} (leave out the nowiki stuff) which generates[dubiousdiscuss]. First, before adding the dubious, create a new section on the talk page talk:Sleeping while on duty (if there isn't one already) You do need to add citations to reliable sources to support your arguments per wp:verifiability as that is what Wikipedia needs to be trustworthy. Most won't try to find sources and most will not likely take interest. One's own research is termed wp:original research and should be avoided on Wikipedia. See below.— Preceding unsigned comment added by Jim1138 (talkcontribs) 04:36, 15 July 2016 (UTC)Reply

References

edit

Adding references is how we ensure that content is valid. Without references, a reader can not easily validate information and there is no presumption of accuracy. This is covered by the Wikipedia policy of wp:verifiability (WP:V). Please wp:cite your edits with wp:reliable sources (RS). See Help:Referencing for beginners, Help:Citation Style 1 and wp:Inline citations. Per WP:V unsourced content can be removed. Jim1138 (talk) 04:36, 15 July 2016 (UTC)Reply
