Hello, and thank you for your contributions to the site John Demjanjuk. However, I have reverted your edit for the following reasons:
- The information you added was already present in the article in virtually the same form. Adding additional information to articles is always welcome, provided it's verifiable, but duplicating information is unnecessary.
- You added contextual information in the "references" section. While this is not a serious mistake, it would have still required a quick edit to replace the information in the body of the text.
- The tone of your writing was not encyclopedic in nature, but, again, this could easily be corrected by another editor.
Please don't let this first attempt discourage you from editing on Wikipedia. Feel free to explore the encyclopedia, and continue making edits that you feel are useful to Wikipedia. Be observant - if you see something that looks good, do what the other editors are doing. As you gain more practice, you will quickly learn how to become an efficient editor on Wikipedia. If you have any questions, please feel free to contact me at my talk page, and I'll do my best to answer your questions. --Ericdn (talk) 19:20, 11 March 2009 (UTC)

editHello, I'm BracketBot. I have automatically detected that your edit to Def Jam Recordings discography may have broken the syntax by modifying 2 "[]"s. If you have, don't worry: just edit the page again to fix it. If I misunderstood what happened, or if you have any questions, you can leave a message on my operator's talk page.

editPlease refrain from making unconstructive edits to Wikipedia, as you did at Brianna Hildebrand. Your edits appear to be disruptive and have been reverted.
- If you are engaged in an article content dispute with another editor, please discuss the matter with the editor at their talk page, or the article's talk page, and seek consensus with them. Alternatively you can read Wikipedia's dispute resolution page, and ask for independent help at one of the relevant notice boards.
- If you are engaged in any other form of dispute that is not covered on the dispute resolution page, please seek assistance at Wikipedia's Administrators' noticeboard/Incidents.
Please ensure you are familiar with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines, and please do not continue to make edits that appear disruptive. Continual disruptive editing may result in loss of editing privileges. Please read the source, she identifies as "queer", not "gay". (talk page stalker) CrashUnderride 15:33, 7 February 2018 (UTC)

Request edit
edit{{request edit}} by 1945 and 1946 Charles Lester place his birth name as Charles Laster. Our last name has an "a" not an "e". I would like the article to reference his birth name as younger relatives look him up they cannot find anything about him. I have his death certificate, scrapbook articles and a newspaper article regarding his death with the right spelling. Although the boxing world (media) back then kept printing his name wrong, I would like it referenced that his birth name is "Laster."
Thank you,
