Truce

edit

I don't have a COI with NZWPW. I was just annoyed with you removing my edits. But I have read the Wikipedia articles and now agree as I am more aware of the policies. I didn't buy the ring I just saw it for sale on Facebook. Please don't engage in any war with me. I call for a Truce. I'm going to edit NZWPW very neutrally and am looking for relevant information to improve the article.   06:24, 6 May 2020 (UTC)

Rubbish. In your anger you revealed the truth. 2001:8003:5022:5E01:B928:4F34:CE4A:D218 (talk) 06:38, 6 May 2020 (UTC)Reply
Mate I would like to apologize. I wanted to add factual information that Martin Stirling has retired, and I couldn't find a source and that annoyed me. So I made that one thing up. I apologize and I am not going to add anything which is unsourced. I am not going to revert any more of your edits. My edits are 100% in good faith. Please lets not argue.  07:00, 6 May 2020 (UTC)
You have a COI. Admit it. Stop with the excuses. 2001:8003:5022:5E01:B928:4F34:CE4A:D218 (talk) 07:13, 6 May 2020 (UTC)Reply
I am just trying to improve the article as I have done for many years. I created this article many years ago and maintain this article and have a passion for maintaining wrestling articles. That is my reason for the false claim. Please let me continue editing the NZWPW page. I want to improve it. Please assume good faith. Everything I add in the future will be sourced from a trustworthy neutral source. I am sorry and this will not happen again   07:23, 6 May 2020 (UTC)

COI

edit

The COI guideline does not absolutely prohibit people with a connection to a subject from editing articles on that subject. My edits are uncontroversial and are sourced so there is no issue. You only can revert my edits due to COI if they are unsourced or controversial COI allegations should not be used as a "trump card" in disputes over article content'. I feel you are is doing this as you continue to dispute with me about many different article contents. I want a truce. Let's agree to disagree.   07:42, 6 May 2020 (UTC)

No. No trump card. You just can't edit the article without going through the talk page. 2001:8003:5022:5E01:B928:4F34:CE4A:D218 (talk) 09:04, 6 May 2020 (UTC)Reply
No you can't assume COI without going through the talk page. It says so in the guidelines. You can add a COI tag after a decision is agreed upon. So I will still be editing the article. And it is clearly a trump card. Anyone could spot that.   10:23, 6 May 2020 (UTC)
Wrong. COI stays until otherwise noted. 2001:8003:5022:5E01:B928:4F34:CE4A:D218 (talk) 10:28, 6 May 2020 (UTC)Reply
Wrong you can't just say there is a COI. "If you believe an editor has an undisclosed COI and is editing in violation of this guideline, raise the issue in a civil manner on the editor's talk page, which is the first step in resolving user-conduct issues, per the DR policy, citing this guideline. If for some reason that is not advisable, or if it fails to resolve the issue, the next step is to open a discussion at the conflict of interest noticeboard (COIN). COIN is also the place to discuss disclosed COI that is causing a problem: for example, an acknowledged BLP subject who is editing their own BLP. Similarly, if you're editing with a disclosed COI, you can ask for advice at COIN". So you shouldn't be able to edit as you are violating the guidlines. I know you just love arguing until the cows come home. Why not just WP:Be Civil   10:39, 6 May 2020 (UTC)
Also on WP:Be Civil - "Be careful with user warning templates. Be careful about issuing templated messages to editors you're currently involved in a dispute with". In other words just stop it and move on to something else. You can't tell me I'm not going to edit the page. Why can't you be friendly mate? What's wrong?   10:43, 6 May 2020 (UTC)
You are what's wrong. You have a COI until a third party says you don't. Stop trying to wriggle your way out of it. 2001:8003:5022:5E01:B928:4F34:CE4A:D218 (talk) 10:45, 6 May 2020 (UTC)Reply
Can't you read? It says I don't have a COI until a third party says otherwise. You have no right to block me from editing an article. You just love stirring rubbish. Just let it go already. You are being ridiculous. I made a ridiculous claim and you believe it and start this silly rubbish. Just because you want to win an argument. You win okay. And I am still editing the page. Have a great day bro.   10:50, 6 May 2020 (UTC)
