In the Year Ten Thousand

edit

There has been much activity on the Orbit / Geostationary orbit re the "In the Year Ten Thousand" book. I was not involved in any of these edits but on reading the changes I can see why they were reverted. "he could disconnect an air ship from the laws of gravitation, and cause it to stand still in space" - this is levitation not orbit. A orbit requires moving sideways fast enough to always be falling but missing as the ground curves away. You start the quote with "One early mention of an artificial satellite" and what is being described could be refered to as a Satellite so if maybe put it in there and see what people think.
