Comment, by the way; if you're planning on contributing helpfully you might want to request a 'crat change your username; the current one implies nasty things (see WP:SPA)
My single purpose is to expand the encyclopedia --1onepuposeaccount (talk) 22:55, 23 November 2008 (UTC)Reply
Not saying it isn't, just that it appears a bit iffy. You might want to leave a message to that effect on your userpage to avoid any misunderstandings. Ironholds (talk) 22:57, 23 November 2008 (UTC)Reply

User Talk:Fatal!ty

edit

I don't think you have a right to "courtesy blank" Fatal!ty's talk page. I'm going to revert it. Hopefully you aren't a sockpuppet of his. You're account was created close to when Fatal!ty was blocked. Killiondude (talk) 22:55, 23 November 2008 (UTC)Reply

Couldn't I use the same rationale? --1onepuposeaccount (talk) 22:58, 23 November 2008 (UTC)Reply
That killiondude is a sockpuppet? Ironholds (talk) 22:59, 23 November 2008 (UTC)Reply
In regards to the right to blank Fatal!ty's user-talk page?--1onepuposeaccount (talk) 23:00, 23 November 2008 (UTC)Reply
I messaged Irid about this. If the user did courtesy blank (which he did), I don't see why it should be reverted, but maybe I am missing something. neuro(talk) 23:04, 23 November 2008 (UTC)Reply
I thought Irid reverted the blanking was maybe to allow other users to see the indef block on it, and the events surrounding the block. I guess we'll have to wait for Irid's say in this. Killiondude (talk) 23:10, 23 November 2008 (UTC)Reply

Username

edit

Hello, and welcome to Wikipedia!

I hope not to seem unfriendly or make you feel unwelcome, but I noticed your username, and I am concerned that it might not meet Wikipedia's username policy for the following reason: Your name implies an SPA. After you look over that policy, could we discuss that concern here?

I'd appreciate learning your own views, for instance your reasons for wanting this particular name, and what alternative username you might accept that avoids raising this concern.

You have several options freely available to you:

Thank you. neuro(talk) 23:06, 23 November 2008 (UTC)Reply

WP:DTTR--1onepuposeaccount (talk) 23:06, 23 November 2008 (UTC)Reply
I will take that as a no, but you should note that you are de facto not a regular, unless you have another account you would like to tell us about - perhaps Fatal!ty? neuro(talk) 23:08, 23 November 2008 (UTC)Reply
Also, WP:DTTR is disputed, and is not a policy. neuro(talk) 23:09, 23 November 2008 (UTC)Reply
If I said no, then I'd be lying. On the other hand, if I said yes, then you would checkuser, salt, oversight and indef-block the hell outta this account. --1onepuposeaccount (talk) 23:10, 23 November 2008 (UTC)Reply
I'll take that as a yes, then. Taking this to CU. neuro(talk) 23:12, 23 November 2008 (UTC)Reply
Possible, or maybe even   Likely if you include technical evidence. But then again   CheckUser is not magic pixie dust--1onepuposeaccount (talk) 23:15, 23 November 2008 (UTC)Reply
For a sock, you sure are working hard to be droll. Lets just see how this RFCU goes, eh? neuro(talk) 23:19, 23 November 2008 (UTC)Reply
