Yessss! You made an account! Totally sweet! Anybody can edit; just go to an article and edit it. Be Bold, but please don't put silly stuff in - it will be removed very quickly, and will annoy people. Besides that, you shouldn't feel nervous or anything about a good-willed contribution. If you're concerned, talk to us. Play in your user area. For example, create User:18bwesthouses/test. If you feel nervous, feel free to talk to us. When you're ready, start your first article using the Article Wizard. You don't HAVE to use it, but for your first article it really helps. It should be about something well-known, and it will need references. If you'd like more guidance, you guessed it, talk to us. Speedy deletion nomination of Jill Greenacre

A tag has been placed on Jill Greenacre, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. Midlands University Snooker Championship

I've removed the proposed deletion for now, to give you an opportunity to improve it to the point where it meets notability guidelines. The article currently is unreferenced and I'm finding no mention of it in reliable sources. A Google News search brings up nothing. To answer your question, if you can provide citations to verifiable sources the article may be saved, otherwise it will be deleted. Both of your contributions to Wikipedia so far have been tagged for deletion by separate editors. To help you get off on a better foot, I'll add some welcoming information that includes some great links to help you get started.
