Information icon Hello, I'm EdwardUK. I noticed that you added or changed content in an article, Steel City derby, but you didn't provide a reliable source. It's been removed and archived in the page history for now, but if you'd like to include a citation and re-add it, please do so. If you need guidance on referencing, please see the referencing for beginners tutorial, or if you think I made a mistake, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thank you. Steel City Derby (2017-18 Championship season)

edit

What information is it exactly? 1889sufc (talk) 10:50, 6 March 2019 (UTC)Reply

The term 'bouncing day massacre' isn’t used in the existing citation (BBC match report) so when adding it to the article an extra citation is needed – preferably from a news site rather than a fan blog. I’ve found an article in the Star which looks suitable and have added it. EdwardUK (talk) 11:21, 6 March 2019 (UTC)Reply

Please do not add or change content, as you did at Marvin Johnson (footballer, born 1990), without citing a reliable source. Please review the guidelines at Wikipedia:Citing sources and take this opportunity to add references to the article. Thank you. Mattythewhite (talk) 17:50, 26 May 2019 (UTC)Reply

He is a Left Midfielder/Winger. He has only played as a left midfielder/winger. 1889sufc (talk) 17:53, 26 May 2019 (UTC)Reply

Please stop adding unsourced content, as you did on Chris Basham. This violates Wikipedia's policy on verifiability. If you continue to do so, you may be blocked from editing Wikipedia. Mattythewhite (talk) 22:06, 4 June 2019 (UTC)Reply

It literally says his place of birth is Peterborough not Hebburn in the Sheffield United programmes.

If you need proof that Peterborough is in fact his birthplace then email jasonccraig36@gmail.com. I can send a photo to prove that he is born in Peterborough. 1889sufc (talk) 22:15, 4 June 2019 (UTC)Reply

You may be blocked from editing without further warning the next time you add unsourced material to Wikipedia, as you did at Gary Madine. Mattythewhite (talk) 00:02, 5 June 2019 (UTC)Reply

Gary Madine's place of birth is in the Sheffield United programmes. Like I said, email me so I can send you proof.

It is literally says their place of birth in the programmes so therefore it isn't unsourced material.

I literally have proof on my Instagram if you need to check. My username is @sheffield_united_bible 1889sufc (talk) 00:06, 5 June 2019 (UTC)Reply

You need to cite your sources in the article itself. See WP:CS for details on how to format references. Mattythewhite (talk) 00:35, 5 June 2019 (UTC)Reply

This is your only warning; if you vandalize Wikipedia again, as you did at Dean Henderson, you may be blocked from editing without further notice. Unsourced content. Mattythewhite (talk) 00:34, 5 June 2019 (UTC)Reply

Ok thanks, I'm still fairly new to Wikipedia. But still I'm including facts. I will check WP:CS. I would like some help on how to add photos to prove that this is the case. Message me on Instagram if necessary as I can send you proof via there if you prefer.1889sufc (talk) 00:37, 5 June 2019 (UTC)Reply
