Varna does not apply to Southern parts of India. It is used only in North India for those foreigners who are reading texts written by some non-Indian foreign authors. Using Varna for Southern parts of India is like saying - All Blacks in Southern part of USA are Slaves. People in some remote/rural parts of the world might belive what they have been told in some texts or movies.
