editHi, you seem like you've made some very useful recent edits. In fact, I applaud you for your dedication. However, I would like to ask why you have not made an account. It is not necessary by any means, but it does mean that people would be less likely to view you as a bot, and would also allow your contributions to be attributed to someone. For more information, you can check out Wikipedia:Why create an account, thanks! Alpha2 5232 (talk) 01:48, 13 April 2024 (UTC)
- Hi, you're right, I should create an account. But how can I tie my contributions to a new account? 180.200.206.0 (talk) 01:52, 13 April 2024 (UTC)
- You can request a merge in limited cases (see Wikipedia:Username policy § Deleting and merging accounts), but it would be advisable to make an account anyway, as having a public IP address is a slight danger on the internet. If you want, you could add a link to your old contributions to your new User page if you make one. If you want to go ahead and make an account, you can message me to get some help once you're done! This is the discussion page for an IP user, identified by the user's IP address. Many IP addresses change periodically, and are often shared by several users. If you are an IP user, you may create an account or log in to avoid future confusion with other IP users. Registering also hides your IP address. |
