16gb has created an edit in its sandbox of the Emergency Medicine Wiki article. The goal of the edit was to expand the content of article, focusing on information regarding:
- the financing associated with the specialty of emergency medicine,
- the context of emergency medical practice,
- issues (such as overcrowding) associated with funding (or a lack thereof) due to government mandates (such as EMTALA), and
- complexities associated with organizational coordination of emergency medicine (such as medical error).
Writing and edits were provided as follows:
- Laura Rhodes drafted sections on reimbursement (compensation, payment for services, and funding for training (found in the Training section of the article under the subheading United States)),
- Brytani Garnett drafted the section on different ED systems,
