Future Farmers of America (wording awkward in article)

The article says that Carter joined "a club called Future Farmers of America" This isn't correct wording. EVERYONE in the US knows what the Future Farmers of America is (most people). It's an organization that has existed across the US - North, South from CA to NY. This would be like saying that he "joined a club called The Boy Scouts". The correct wording should be ...."joined the Future Farmers of America".....
