If you edit without using a named account, your IP address (144.173.212.160) is used to identify you instead.

I hope that you, as a Wikipedian, decide to continue contributing to our project: an encyclopedia of human knowledge that anyone can edit. References edit

Thank you for contributing to Wikipedia. Remember that when adding content about health, please only use high-quality reliable sources as references. We typically use review articles, major textbooks and position statements of national or international organizations (There are several kinds of sources that discuss health: here is how the community classifies them and uses them). WP:MEDHOW walks you through editing step by step. A list of resources to help edit health content can be found here. The edit box has a built-in citation tool to easily format references based on the PMID or ISBN. We also provide style advice about the structure and content of medicine-related encyclopedia articles. The welcome page is another good place to learn about editing the encyclopedia. If you have any questions, please feel free to drop me a note. Jytdog (talk) 16:42, 1 May 2018 (UTC)Reply

Thanks Jytdog. I was using sources as per that WP:MEDRS link but someone kept reverting it, citing the link that said what I was doing was ok. Seems a bit pointless actually editing the encyclopedia if people roll stuff back without really explaining why to be honest. Maybe the person rolling it back didn't really understand the guidelines? Not sure but if one person's lack of understanding of the literature means that useful information from high-quality reliable sources is kept away from the pages, it makes me question the encyclopedia as a whole to be honest. 144.173.212.160 (talk) 16:19, 4 May 2018 (UTC)Reply
Thanks for replying. Why do you think that PMID 28769816 is OK per MEDRS? It is not a review or a statement by a major medical/scientific body, is it? Jytdog (talk) 16:25, 4 May 2018 (UTC)Reply
