Welcome!

Hello, and welcome to Wikipedia!

I'm PartTimeGnome, one of the volunteer editors at Wikipedia. I saw your feedback, and I'd like to thank you for your interest in expanding Wikipedia's content.

You can submit an article without an account using the Article Wizard (click that link to start your submission!). The wizard will ask a couple of questions to check the topic of your article is suitable for Wikipedia, then take you to a page where you can type your article. After you submit your article, an Articles for creation (AfC) volunteer will review it, and might offer advice on how to improve it. When the AfC reviewer is happy with the article, they will move it to the main encyclopedia.

To create an article directly without having an AfC volunteer review it, you must have a Wikipedia account. To see other benefits to creating an account, see Why create an account?. Since this is your first article, I recommend using the Article Wizard regardless of whether or not you decide to create an account.

Unfortunately, many new articles are deleted everyday as unsuitable for Wikipedia. To stop this happening to your article, read Chapter 4 from The Missing Manual: Creating a New Article, which explains how to avoid common pitfalls when writing a new article. You might also like to read:

I hope you enjoy editing here and being a Wikipedian! If you need help, check out Wikipedia:Questions, ask me on my talk page, or ask your question on this page then place {{helpme}} before the question.
