Hello, I'm Username6892. I noticed that you recently removed content from James Broadwood Lyall without adequately explaining why. In the future, it would be helpful to others if you described your changes to Wikipedia with an accurate edit summary. If this was a mistake, don't worry; the removed content has been restored. If you would like to experiment, please use the sandbox. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page.   Please do not remove content or templates from pages on Wikipedia, as you did to James Broadwood Lyall, without giving a valid reason for the removal in the edit summary. Your content removal does not appear to be constructive and has been reverted. If you only meant to make a test edit, please use the sandbox for that. Ahmadtalk 20:37, 4 August 2020 (UTC)Reply

Hello, I'm Rdp060707. I wanted to let you know that I removed one or more external links you added to Olympic weightlifting because they seemed inappropriate for an encyclopedia. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page or take a look at our guidelines about links. Thank you. ----Rdp060707|Let's discuss about the plans 08:03, 3 March 2021 (UTC)Reply

Please do not add inappropriate external links to Wikipedia, as you did with this edit to Olympic weightlifting. Wikipedia is not a collection of links nor should it be used for advertising or promotion. Inappropriate links may include, but are not limited to, links to personal websites, links to websites with which you are affiliated and links that attract visitors to a website or promote a product. See the external links guideline and spam guideline for further explanations. Because Wikipedia uses the nofollow attribute value, its external links are disregarded by most search engines. If you feel the link should be added to the article, please discuss it on the article's talk page rather than re-adding it. Thank you. ----Rdp060707|Let's discuss about the plans 08:05, 3 March 2021 (UTC)Reply

Please stop adding inappropriate external links to Wikipedia, as you did with this edit to Robert Cheeke. It is considered spamming and Wikipedia is not a vehicle for advertising or promotion. Because Wikipedia uses nofollow tags, additions of links to Wikipedia will not alter search engine rankings. If you continue spamming, you may be blocked from editing Wikipedia. Thank you. ----Rdp060707|Let's discuss about the plans 08:30, 3 March 2021 (UTC)Reply
