Credits for Best Friends Whenever

edit

The authoritative source for credit info is the show itself. There is no better source pretty much by definition of what credits are. Geraldo Perez (talk) 05:08, 4 August 2015 (UTC)Reply

Please refrain from making unconstructive edits to Wikipedia, as you did at Best Friends Whenever. Your edits appear to be disruptive and have been reverted or removed.

  • If you are engaged in an article content dispute with another editor then please discuss the matter with the editor at their talk page, or the article's talk page. Alternatively you can read Wikipedia's dispute resolution page, and ask for independent help at one of the relevant notice boards.
  • If you are engaged in any other form of dispute that is not covered on the dispute resolution page, please seek assistance at Wikipedia's Administrators' noticeboard/Incidents.

Please ensure you are familiar with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines, and please do not continue to make edits that appear disruptive, until the dispute is resolved through consensus. Continuing to edit disruptively could result in loss of editing privileges. Watch the episode and don't falsify credits with info from unreliable sources Geraldo Perez (talk) 05:10, 4 August 2015 (UTC)Reply

Your recent editing history at Best Friends Whenever shows that you are currently engaged in an edit war. To resolve the content dispute, please do not revert or change the edits of others when you get reverted. Instead of reverting, please use the article's talk page to work toward making a version that represents consensus among editors. The best practice at this stage is to discuss, not edit-war. See BRD for how this is done. If discussions reach an impasse, you can then post a request for help at a relevant noticeboard or seek dispute resolution. In some cases, you may wish to request temporary page protection.

Being involved in an edit war can result in your being blocked from editing—especially if you violate the three-revert rule, which states that an editor must not perform more than three reverts on a single page within a 24-hour period. Undoing another editor's work—whether in whole or in part, whether involving the same or different material each time—counts as a revert. Also keep in mind that while violating the three-revert rule often leads to a block, you can still be blocked for edit warring—even if you don't violate the three-revert rule—should your behavior indicate that you intend to continue reverting repeatedly. Please see Talk:Best Friends Whenever#Credit order and contribute to the discussion if you wish. The credit order is how presented in the opening credit sequence of the show itself, not what Variety or IMDb says, and must be presented the same in the article. I do make the point of how the presentation can be confusing with Landry Bender's name off to the right of Lauren Taylor's (and Bender situated to the right of Taylor), even though Bender's name is above Taylor's as well. If this is a shared IP address, and you did not make the edits, consider creating an account for yourself so you can avoid further irrelevant notices.

You may be blocked from editing without further warning the next time you disrupt Wikipedia, as you did at Best Friends Whenever. You have been warned several times not to change the order of the cast credits in the article, and have also been referred to the talk page on several occasions regarding why the order is as it is. As this is the final warning, next time it will be taken to administrators, via AIV or ANI. MPFitz1968 (talk) 18:21, 20 August 2015 (UTC)Reply

And also note, you have been citing IMDb as your source, when you have been told that it is NOT a reliable source. The TV show is the most reliable place to find the correct order of the cast members, not IMDb. MPFitz1968 (talk) 18:23, 20 August 2015 (UTC)Reply

Also suggest checking IMDb again. Not a reliable source but it does match the show now and maybe their change can motivate your edit warring this order issue to end. Geraldo Perez (talk) 20:11, 20 August 2015 (UTC)Reply
Obviously it didn't as you are still edit warring this per last edits made. Geraldo Perez (talk) 05:55, 21 August 2015 (UTC)Reply

Anonymous users from this IP address have been blocked from editing for a period of 24 hours for edit warring. If you think there are good reasons why you should be unblocked, you may appeal this block by first reading the guide to appealing blocks, then adding the following text below this notice: {{unblock|reason=Your reason here ~~~~}}.

During a dispute, you should first try to discuss controversial changes and seek consensus. If that proves unsuccessful, you are encouraged to seek dispute resolution, and in some cases it may be appropriate to request page protection.  Mkdwtalk 15:29, 21 August 2015 (UTC)Reply
