I'm interested in what seems to be selective enforcement of Wikipedias citation standards. Citation 4, listed as {Detoit, Gale. "Sally Miller Gearhart". Contemporary Authors Online. Literature Resource Center. Retrieved 24 November 2013.} leads to a locked page with no information. There has been repeated deletion of the statement "She has been controversial for her statements that "The proportion of men must be reduced to and maintained at approximately 10% of the human race", made in her speech essay "The Future-If There is One-Is Female", and the stated reason has been that the citation is unreliable. However the citation given was a secondary source print material, (the primary source is unavailable online). There are many examples of similar source material used in Wikipedia, and even in this very page. I'd like to request the retention of this quote, as it is necessary for the complete, unbiased portrayal of the character of Sally Miller Gearhart. As for including the quote in the first paragraph, there is president in including controversy of an living individual n the first paragraph. For individuals looking to get a quick summary of the career and opinions of Sally Miller Gearhart, it seems necessary to include her advocations for genocide. 150.253.43.224 (talk) 20:01, 1 March 2018 (UTC) David UngsReply
