Deprodding of July 2009 Mid-Atlantic tornadoes edit

I have removed the {{proposed deletion/dated}} tag from July 2009 Mid-Atlantic tornadoes, which you proposed for deletion. The article seems to have a fair amount of information on the tornadoes in each state.. If you still think this article should be deleted, please do not add {{proposed deletion}} back to the page. Instead, feel free to list it at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion. Thanks! TartarTorte 00:41, 24 January 2022 (UTC)Reply

Request reason:

Combining weather and baseball edits is not grounds for an assumption of sockpuppetry. 108.170.68.186 (talk) 15:20, 4 November 2023 (UTC)Reply

Decline reason:

This isn't a denial but an argument about process. 331dot (talk) 15:39, 4 November 2023 (UTC)Reply

Request reason:

It is a denial, because what I’m saying is I’m not a sock, even though I combined weather and baseball edits. People are allowed to have 2 different interests and they often time go hand in hand (weather-related incidents often force baseball and other sports games to be postponed, there’s even an article called Rainout (sports). Besides this is also a confirmed public IP that belongs to the Dunkin Donuts in Plainview, NY.108.170.68.186 (talk) 15:50, 23 November 2023 (UTC)Reply

We will not be lifting this block. Yamla (talk) 16:12, 23 November 2023 (UTC)Reply

Request reason:

Concrete evidence must be provided for any sockpuppetry allegation and blocked. Per Wikipedia:Sockpuppet investigations/Andrew5/Archive#11 August 2023, the investigation that led to this IP being blocked, zero diffs were provided. Zero! And yet the IP was still blocked. Blocks for sockpuppetry at SPI should always be accompanied with diffs. As such, this should be unblocked as the block was made in zero evidence. And the February 2023 block referenced in the SPI (which was undocumented) was simply due to one revert that actually was permissible by WP:BANREVERT. This seemed to be bad faith sock hunting by WeatherWriter, ChessEric, and United States Man, and I suspect financial transactions were involved with these blocks. 108.170.68.186 (talk) 16:26, 23 November 2023 (UTC)Reply

Inaccurate wikilawyering at best. We will not be lifting this block. --jpgordon𝄢𝄆𝄐𝄇 17:46, 23 November 2023 (UTC)Reply
