@*Treker: I am not @YgorD3:. obv. 103.84.173.28 (talk) 22:12, 25 November 2021 (UTC)Reply
Nothing indicates that I would think you were YgorD3.★Trekker (talk) 22:14, 25 November 2021 (UTC)Reply
@*Treker: "no one but you thinks should be in the article"? 103.84.173.28 (talk) 22:16, 25 November 2021 (UTC)Reply
I've looked at the history and I don't see them adding any MCU crud to the page. Maybe they did a while ago but they havn't engaged in the talkpage discussion to support of your additions, only remove excessive cruft you've added to the table.★Trekker (talk) 22:18, 25 November 2021 (UTC)Reply
Do you know what a franchise is? Do you realize that adaptations made by different companies of the same work don't mean they are part of the same franchise? Do you know Blade has his own article where you can add info about the MCU apparences?★Trekker (talk) 22:19, 25 November 2021 (UTC)Reply
This reboot is of this franchise. Snipes was considered to return at a point. The Blade imagery being used originated in the films and was then incorporated into the comics. 103.84.173.28 (talk) 22:24, 25 November 2021 (UTC)Reply
No it is not. Snipes tried to get into the MCU yes (he really tried but honestly it was never going to happen). This new film is based on the comics, its not a reboot of the old franchise, that's fanboy dreams, Marvel Entertainment has no right to the New Line Cinema franchise.★Trekker (talk) 22:30, 25 November 2021 (UTC)Reply
Any superficial similarity/inspiration that the new film will have to the old films is going to fall within what they are legally allowed to do, and does not in any way mean its the same franchise.★Trekker (talk) 22:32, 25 November 2021 (UTC)Reply
@*Treker: This reboot only exists because of the Wesley Snipes films. It is a reboot of them. 103.84.173.28 (talk) 22:36, 25 November 2021 (UTC)Reply
Why something exists is irrelevant, they're legaly distinct and nothing you (or any other fan) wish will change that. They're produced by different companies and unless Snipes Blade ever (probably never) actually appears in the MCU, nothing more needs to be said about the MCU in this article.★Trekker (talk) 22:39, 25 November 2021 (UTC)Reply
@*Treker: YgorD3 re-edited my edits better than I could edit, trimming but supporting the MCU inclusion. 103.84.173.28 (talk) 22:24, 25 November 2021 (UTC)Reply
Ygor hasn't made any comment on the talkpage to motivate why he kept some MCU stuff in the article, he might simply not know that it doesn't belong as far as I'm aware.★Trekker (talk) 22:30, 25 November 2021 (UTC)Reply
@*Treker: Their edit summaries mentioned the MCU, and it does belong. 103.84.173.28 (talk) 22:36, 25 November 2021 (UTC)Reply
It does not an never will.★Trekker (talk) 22:39, 25 November 2021 (UTC)Reply

Welcome to Wikipedia. Although everyone is welcome to contribute constructively to the encyclopedia, your addition of one or more external links to the page List of Big Nate characters and premises has been reverted.

Please stop your disruptive editing. If you continue to add unsourced or poorly sourced content, as you did at Big Nate (TV series), you may be blocked from editing. Your assertion about a DMCA does not satisfy WP:VERIFY. Please provide reliable sources EvergreenFir (talk) 19:55, 27 November 2021 (UTC)Reply

If this is a shared IP address, and you did not make the edits referred to above, consider creating an account for yourself or logging in with an existing account so that you can avoid further irrelevant notices.

Anonymous users from this IP address have been blocked from editing for a period of 31 hours for persistently adding unsourced or poorly sourced content.

Request reason:

@EvergreenFir: I did not put the information back. Your last revert only removed that the Big Nate television series will have Big Nate characters in it, and the missing italics I put around Big Nate. 103.84.173.28 (talk) 02:57, 28 November 2021 (UTC)Reply

Decline reason:

Missing the point. You edit-warred over this rather than discuss. And regardless of what you seem to think, Reddit can never be a source for something like this. And I cannot fathom just what bearing a purported DMCA notice to a contributor has on a source's reliability. There is nothing in IRS about that. — Daniel Case (talk) 03:34, 28 November 2021 (UTC)Reply

If you want to make any further unblock requests, please read the guide to appealing blocks first, then use the {{unblock}} template again. If you make too many unconvincing or disruptive unblock requests, you may be prevented from editing this page until your block has expired. Do not remove this unblock review while you are blocked.

@Daniel Case: Has a DMCA notice ever been sent out to fake leaks? 103.84.173.28 (talk) 23:50, 28 November 2021 (UTC)Reply

First, that's completely irrelevant to the issue of you using an unreliable source repeatedly; second ... so? How do you know that the DMCA notice was sent because the real art, or art they intend to use, was leaked? Content producers automatically have copyright on anything they create; someone could have just leaked something they found and, since people at the studio probably have all signed NDAs saying they won't do this, the studio wants to know who is responsible and that even if everyone knows its crap they'd never use, that the leak will be taken seriously and, if necessary, the NDAs will be enforced.

Or the studio could have deliberately leaked something they might not actually be using and sent out the DMCA as a way to generate buzz and keep people engaged (basically the Sonic the Hedgehog conspiracy theory). Daniel Case (talk) 00:02, 29 November 2021 (UTC)Reply

Doctor Polaris

edit

Doctor Polaris is a different character, one over at DC comics. Doczilla @SUPERHEROLOGIST 05:25, 2 December 2021 (UTC)Reply

@Doczilla: There is a DC Comics character also named Doctor Polaris, but recent Marvel Comics have also taken to calling Lorna Dane by that name. 103.84.173.28 (talk) 09:34, 2 December 2021 (UTC)Reply
Cite sources, specific issues. If it only happened once, it is not a name she uses. Doctor Stasis called her that once recently, but has anyone else? Does she go by that herself? If not, it's like Spider-Man shouting, "Hey, Sandy," to Sandman. Doczilla @SUPERHEROLOGIST 20:22, 2 December 2021 (UTC)Reply

The IP address that you are currently using has been blocked because it is believed to be an open or anonymizing proxy, such as a VPN service. To prevent abuse, these proxies may be blocked from editing Wikipedia.

If you are using an open proxy or VPN service, you will need to disable it or turn it off in order to edit Wikipedia.

If you believe you are not using an anonymizing proxy, the most likely cause is that another customer using your IP address who was previously assigned this IP address was running an open proxy. You may appeal this block by adding the following text on your talk page: {{unblock|reason=Caught by an open proxy block but this host or IP is not an open proxy. My IP address is _______. Place any further information here. ~~~~}}. You must fill in the blank with your IP address for this block to be investigated. Your IP address can be determined here. Alternatively, if you wish to keep your IP address private you can use the Unblock Ticket Request System.

More rarely, your network equipment or that of your service provider may be misconfigured or compromised by malicious software (such as a virus). For more information, see the WikiProject on Open Proxies.

Administrators: The IP block exemption user right should only be applied to allow users to edit using an open or anonymizing proxies in exceptional circumstances, and they should usually be directed to the functionaries team via email. If you intend to give the IPBE user right, a CheckUser needs to take a look at the account. This can be requested most easily at SPI Quick Checkuser Requests. Unblocking an IP or IP range with this template is highly discouraged without at least contacting the blocking administrator.
